| In this paper, we consider the equivalent characterizations and properties of the elements whose pseudo core inverse is idempotent in rings with involution. In addition, we get some equivalent conditions for the elements whose Moore-Penrose inverse is idempotent in *-cancellable rings, extending the recent related results of complex matrices to the ring case. |
