深紫外激光器(DUV)在工业、军事、医疗和科研等领域有广泛的应用。介绍了全固态深紫外激光器的增益介质以及用于产生深紫外激光的非线性光学晶体,回顾了以固体或光纤激光器为基频光通过非线性频率转换技术产生DUV激光器的研究进展,阐述了掺Nd3+增益介质准三能级激光系统与四能级系统存在差异的原因。介绍了作者团队由掺Nd3+准三能级激光系统所产生的0.9 μm基频光获得228 nm激光的研究进展。 |

Deep ultraviolet (DUV) lasers have extensive applications in industries, military, medical, and scientific research fields. This paper introduced the gain medium and nonlinear optical crystals used in all-solid-state deep ultraviolet lasers for generating DUV light. The research progress in the development of DUV lasers through nonlinear frequency conversion technology, utilizing solid/fiber lasers as the base frequency light was reviewed. The paper explained the reasons for the differences between the Nd3+ gain medium quasi-three-level laser system and the four-level laser system. Our team's research findings on achieving a 228 nm laser through frequency quadrupling of the 0.9 μm fundamental light generated by the Nd3+-doped quasi-three-level laser system were also reported. |
