With the help of variation coefficient and Arcgis visualization, this paper analyzed the spatial and temporal evo⁃
lution of urban-rural integration development in Hainan province from the dimensions of urban-rural space, economy, soci⁃
ety and ecology, and explored the main driving forces of urban-rural integration development by using regression model.
The results showed that (1) from the perspective of urban-rural integration index, the level of urban-rural integration in
Haikou city and Sanya city was much higher than that in other cities and counties, and the level of urban-rural integration
in coastal areas was generally higher than that in inland areas. The urban-rural integration index of most cities and counties
fluctuated slightly from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, all cities and counties except Baisha county, Baoting county and
Lingao county showed a steady upward trend; (2) cluster analysis divided the urban-rural integration development in Hain⁃
an province into five grades including advanced integration, good integration, general integration, mild imbalance and severe imbalance. Among them, Haikou city and Sanya city belonged to advanced integration and good integration respective⁃
ly, Wuzhishan city belonged to general integration, most coastal regions belonged to mild maladjustment type, and most in⁃
land regions belonged to severe maladjustment type; (3) Arcgis visualization results showed that for urban-rural integration
development in Hainan province, it′s prominent in north and south poles, the coastal development is higher than that of in⁃
land; (4) regression analysis showed that per capita GDP, added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fish⁃
ery, tourism development benefit and rural non-agricultural employment ratio had a significant impact on urban-rural inte⁃
gration. Except that per capita GDP had a negative effect on urban-rural integration, the other three factors all played a pos⁃
itive driving role in urban-rural integration. Finally, from the perspectives of thinking transformation, industrial develop⁃
ment and rural revitalization, this paper put forward the development countermeasures of urban-rural integration. |
